CT Scan of the Abdomen and Pelvis

What is the procedure?

These pictures start from your lower chest and go through your abdomen and pelvis. You may receive oral and/or and injection of contrast material through your veins.

How much time is involved?
30-45 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment.

Am I allowed to eat or drink before this exam?
Please do not eat or drink for three (3) hours prior to the scheduled time of your exam. You may take you medication.

Please let us know if you are allergic to contrast material or if you may be pregnant. Your exam will be interpreted promptly and the results sent directly to your doctor.
